A Meeting of the Working Group on Issues of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) was held at the Central Election Commission (CEC). Giorgi Kalandarishvili, CEC Chair opened the meeting which centered on the importance of the accessibility of electoral documentation and information materials to beneficiaries of support.

The CEC Chair informed meeting participants on electoral reform and novelties planned in this regard. The election administration is oriented on creating equal conditions and a proper electoral environment for all voters, according to Giorgi Kalandarishvili.

Sophio Sitchinava, Head of CEC’s Coordination, Planning, and Reporting Department as well as Working Group on Issues of Persons with Disabilities, detailed group members on activities implemented in this regard throughout the year, also educational-information programs implemented by the Training Centre. 

The meeting of the working group on issues of PWDs was held at the CEC on October 7.
