Meeting with the representatives of Gypsies’ community

On September 16, 2013 NGO “Healthy world” held a meeting in the village Gachiani within the frameworks of the project “Informing Gypsies’ community about election issues” funded by the Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings.    

The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and in partnership with UNDP within the frameworks of the project “Effectiveness and Sustainability of Electoral Assistance”.

Representatives of Gypsies’ community were informed about different issues of elections. NGO “Healthy world” presented activities, which are being held by the CEC with the aim of involving representatives of ethnic minorities into election process.

They were also informed about the Election Day and election procedures. Representatives of NGO “Healthy World” spoke about development of electoral culture and active involvement of Gypsies in election process.
