The Centre for Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Training (Training Center) continues active cooperation with higher educational institutions of Georgia. Each year, in the Spring and Autumn semesters, students are given the opportunity to take an author's program developed by the Training Center in the field of election law.

The program is based on a modern teaching strategy - much attention is paid to improving students' theoretical knowledge and professional skills in practice. Students of the bachelor degree program of the Faculty of Law, Social Sciences and Journalism are introduced to domestic regulations related to elections and international election practice, receive information on electronic technological innovations introduced to modernize elections, as well as election services offered to voters by the Election Administration.

At this stage, the Training Center is conducting another semester course in partner universities (spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year). The study process is led by lecturers trained by the Training Center. The training program echoes the strategic priority of the Election Administration and aims to strengthen the electoral culture among young people and train field specialists with the competence to match modern requirements.

The autumn semester of 2023-2024 was conducted at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University and Gori State Teaching University. 233 students took part in it.

The authorial program of the Training Center has been implemented since 2010 in partner universities operating in Tbilisi and regions. To date, about 8,000 students have completed the training program.
