From May 13, 2025, the CEC and the Training Centre started the implementation of the training project "Election Administrator Courses".
The project is implemented in a large-scale area, taking place in all 64 municipalities of Georgia. About 11,500 citizens have registered to participate in it.
The training program aims to retrain the potential human resources of Precinct Election Commissions, in order to facilitate the selection of qualified election administrators by the Election Administration. The main focus of the course is to discuss trends in election modernization and provide practical training in administering the polling process using electronic voting machines.
The course is conducted in a face-to-face format based on theoretical and practical teaching methodology. Participants, with a focus on voter service, will learn in detail about the practical aspects of the activities of the Precinct Election Commission, among them, they will be trained in the management of voter verification machines, special electronic vote counting machines, and tablet computers intended for transmitting data specified by law. In addition, considering the procedural specifics of municipal elections, in order to transform the process of counting ballot papers and compiling summary protocols of voting results into practice, modeling of these procedures is carried out with the direct involvement of participants. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the full course.
The project "Election Administrator Courses" will be implemented through the period of May 13-29, 2025. The training course will be conducted by 231 trainers trained by the Training Centre.
